Of all people, my husband told me about a new show that he started to watch.
I say this because his interests seem to lie in watching strictly sports or comedies that I can't stand .
It's called TYRANT
It's centers around a pediatrician who lives in Calif who goes "home" to his Middle East roots with his family to attend the wedding of his nephew.
He does not want to go, but his wife and son push him into doing it.
He has not been home in 20 yrs and his father is the King
Ihad to watch the first espisode on On Demand.because it started last week.
It was riveting... ( I don't want to give it away...but, it is good)
Airs on FX tonight..Tues at 10pm.

This has turned out to be my favorite show of the summer... ( not counting BB).
Has anyone else watched it ?

No, but I haven't watched much of anything...just BB, Under the Dome, and Project Runway...and I can't keep up with them. I remember you talked about it before and it sounded really good.

I feel the same way. I have been having a hard time keeping up with shows.
I watched the first Under the Dome,and I think I have 7 or 8 taped and the Fall shows are going to start up again.
I saw an ad for Revenge...and now Survivor and The Amazing Race...
I may have to give up under the Dome.
I have 2 Dallas taped, too.... just not enough time with BB taking up 3 shows a week.

Tyrant is on hiatus right now...you if anyone wants to ... they should catch up now.
I loved it.
It's one of those shows and I can't remember feeling this way about a show ...ever..but, I never want the actors to appear on a talk show to promote it.. I believe they are who they portray. ...especially "Jamal".
