I am a big Lord of the Rings fan, ever since I picked up The Hobbit and then the Lord of the Rings trilogy books in the 70's. I was a big fan of all the movies as well. Now Amazon has bought the rights and is going to start dropping episodes of their new series on September 2. I don't know much about it, but it seems like it will be a prequel to the story we are all familiar with. Maybe the forging of the rings? I am very hyped to watch and find out! Amazon--September 2. Is anyone else planning on watching this one?
