Top Chef California
« on: February 08, 2016, 01:31:01 AM »
I am not sure if any other cooking show junkies come on this site, but I am a fan of Top Chef. This season plays out in California. What those chefs can do with a few ingredients and a frying pan always amazes me! I am a terrible cook, but I love to watch people making great food....go figure. Anyone else?

Been catching it now and then.  I'm loving that Blais is back as a judge. Usually I stick with Food Network.

I catch an occasional episode of Chopped there, too!

Omigosh! I would not make it as a judge on this show. I am too picky an eater, I guess. One team served a soup with tripe in it...gag. For some of these dishes I am afraid I would have to have a barf bucket...gross. I guess one of the reasons I like this show is that it shows food at a whole new level from what I would ever try here at home. I haven't even heard of, much less tried to cook some of the products that they do on a regular basis.
