Let us all take a moment out of our day to say a prayer and remember all those innocent people who lost their lives 16 years ago today.
Unfortunately, our world hasn't gotten any safer, in many ways it's gotten more scary.
Please, dear Lord, help us have a peaceful world.

Sitting in my office, I get a view of the street.  I saw the First Responders going by and it brought home just what the cost of the attack was -- not only in human life but in dedicated lives.  And the hurricane is serving as a reminder.
