Beautiful fall weather here, interspersed with a little cold wind and rain, but generally sunny and cool! I love this time of year, Nebraska is especially beautiful. Gorgeous sunsets! Got a bushel of apples at an orchard and froze enough for 9 pies or crisps. And finally, I got to decorate for Halloween since we are no longer in the country and I might have trick or treaters! Yay! Love Fall.

We had a good weekend here.  Had some rain on Friday night and clouds from a tropical storm and it was windy but not bad.  Sunday was hot and humid.  Today, it's supposed to be 77 which is high for this time of year.  The weather is out of control.

We got the rain a bit later...on Sunday . Wow was it a torrential storm.
Now most of my beautiful red and gold leaves are on my deck!  *Nooooo*

Besides being isolated with this covid, we got almost 2 feet of snow on Sunday night into Tuesday!! Yes, started snowing when we were getting out of the car to get our virus shot and REALLY came down SIDEWAYS all night and all Monday and lightly snowing into Tuesday.
They say we may be in for more this weekend. !!
It's been a year now that I have been almost "homebound" !!!  Enough is enough.

Glad I'm not in your neck of the woods. We got some nice snow last week, lately it's been fog, fog, fog. But that makes for some pretty rime frost everywhere. Lots of spiky frost on trees, grass, fence lines, everything! Today is beautiful and sunny. A perfect winter day.

Strange  huh?...that you don't have more snow. I would envision Nebraska as having a lot. But, it is weird weather we are seeing all over.
I heard of a town and I don't remember it's name but it is within the Artic Circle and it had a temp of 100 degrees. Never had it before. So let DT say he doesn't believe in global warming.
I am very glad we rejoined the world and will again work along others to help solve some of these problems.

We are bitter cold--below zero weather for the last few days, and more to come.

Crazy weather. Today is 53 degrees and it's going down to freezing tonight. At least it's a sunny day, but, no plans to go anwhere, anyway.
We still are in the middle of this pandemic.  *Nooooo*

Well, with knees and a back that hurts, I'm not going anywhere except a new orthopedic dr.
This other dr that has been treating my back and knees is a physiatrist???
Just know that I would love to feel better. Tired of doctors for this and doctors for that...... !

Thursday wasn't pretty here in North Carolina.  Fox8 news had to stop their broadcast of a storm and head to shelter.  A F0 tornado went over the station and got one of their satellites and trees.  That one went for about 3 miles.  Here in Alamance/Guilford (we're on the edge of Guilford), we heard one forming over the house and it touched down about four miles (as the crow flies) from the house.  If I had been out of the safe zone, I would have probably seen it out the back glass.  It was an F1 and did structure damage, took down a picnic shelter at a local church, and trees. This one was on the ground for around 4 miles.  The final one was in eastern part of the county and did some damage.  Haven't heard the level of it  yet.
