The Little Friend

(1/1)

Snowbird:
I have been reading this book by Donna Tartt who wrote The Secret History.  It is very long, over 600 pages.  It is taking me a long time to read as I have the tendency to fall asleep any time I am still.
It is about a little boy who was hanged as a child and how it has affected his whole family.  One of his sisters who was only a baby when it happened decides as a preteen that she is going to find out who did it.  She and her friend have a lot of misadventures on their quest to find who killed her brother.
The book is well written and the characters are described in a way that you can just see what they look like.
If you like to read and don't mind long books you should read this one.
I want to get her other book when I finish this one.

Sounds good, and I don't mind long books at all!
