Sorry Ponytail. I was on the wrong page (story of my life lately) and responded to "chow." FYI---Goose Gossage was a great relief pitcher for the hated Yankees way back when (1970's--PD?). Like PD, we Yankee haters know more about them than their fans do.
Now, I will respond to "needs."

Knowing where Prairie Dawn and Cookie Monster live, I guess I could have assumed them to be Yankee haters...but, 'you' ... MP, too?
And.."haters" is such a strong word.
I am a Yankee fan. I know exactly who Goose Gossage is.
I used to follow the games more closely when my boys lived at home.
Actually, Paul O'Neill is my favorite all time player....so those were the yrs I fervently watched.
But, give us a series... it's root, root , root for THE YANKEES .
And, my son has taught my little just 2 yr old grandson the Take Me Out To The Ballgame song.
They sing it... instead of root , root root for the Hometeam....just how I put it.
So, although, I am not glued to the tv... when they play... how could I root for any other team...when I already root for the best !!!!!
