The Prankster has to list more than one:

Male:  Daniel Day-Lewis w/DeNiro (in his prime), DiCaprio (the guy can act!), Bogey, Cary Grant (so underrated by many) and Jimmy Stewart (he was awesome in Vertigo) indistinguishable to me.

Female:  Cate Blanchett (imho the best since Meryl Streep) w/Jennifer Lawrence coming up on the outside.

My favorite thing to do to snap out of "the blues" is....................

You're right.  Paul Newman should be on the list (the Prankster loves "Cool Hand Luke.").  Tom Hanks should also be on the list.
