Sarge has a question on this "extreme vetting" issue:  If Sarge's dog undergoes extreme vetting when will he be returned by the vet?

OH, yes. It's a saying my mother said all the time......
I never quite understood when she said it what she meant....because this is the meaning:
Familiarity breeds contempt" refers to the idea that the more time one spends with another person, the more they start to dislike them. This is a cause of many divorces
And, if she meant it when I was dating.... whoa.... I didn't even see my future husband as much as these young girls see their boyfriends now.
( I hope MP that you aren't talking about "Sarge")

Anyone else ready to move south? We have had frozen pipes with no water for several hours, a burst pipe in the basement with a foot of water, and no heat for several hours--on the coldest days of the year. Waaaahhhhh

I've been seeing a lot of beautiful pictures of the cherry blossoms in Japan. My question--do these trees produce cherries? and if not, why are they called cherry trees? and if so, why do we never see pictures of the cherries, or the mess they make?

Macon, Georgia has a cherry blossom festival every year since they have the trees all down some of the main streets in town.  I've never seen cherries on them.  I think there are trees with cherries but the decorative ones must not bear fruit.  That is just like a certain pear tree that never has pears.  We use to have one in our yard that was beautiful until my husband cut it down. 
The question is "Who likes cherries anyway?"

Never had one, but does it have lots of sea food, sausage and corn on the cob in it? I think i've seen them on a cooking show. Will you let us know?
