Bad Storylines
« on: April 13, 2013, 02:27:58 PM »
Anybody else out there get fed up at the story lines of their favorite shows?

My worst one is for Burn Notice--once so clever and witty with characters that you rooted for in spite of their shady pasts because they helped out people who had no other recourse. Now it is just one huge mess of illegal dealings, bombings, killings, and compounding problems as they try to clear their names. As far as I'm concerned they all deserve to be thrown in jail now...for the rest of their lives.

Remind me never to appear in your court, Judge Pony. :25:

DEXTER----The show has had some incredible seasons-----The Ice Truck Killer and The Trinity Killer (with the marvelous John Lithgow), but the show has run both out of gas and off the rails.  Thank God they are killing this serial (stop throwing things!) after one more season.

Anything that 90210 has pulled in the past year or two has been crap. Which is probably why it has been cancelled.

It's a good thing it was the last season for Fringe, too. I was a devoted follower, and it fell flat with me.

I am adding The Borgias to this thread. It's a good thing this is the last season...not one single sympathetic character left. They are all a bunch of lustful, incestuous weasels.
The only redeeming feature is Cesare's tight leather pants....

To this day, the last season of The Sopranos just annoyed the heck out of me.  Don't even get me started on the ending...... :91:

So sad to hear of James Gandolfini's passing.
