Finale Week--Part 1

It's down to the wire with out two fantastic girls--Kree Harrison and Candice Glover--or as Nickie puts it, Kreedom and Candy Girl. Tonight the girls will sing 3 songs.

Round 1--Simon Fuller's choice

Kree sings' Angel'
Candice sings 'Chasing Pavements'

Carly Rae Jepson sings the Coca Cola Perfect Harmony song that was created over the weeks with the fans. 'Take a Picture' (very cutesy)

Round 2--singles written for them

Kree sings 'All Cried Out'
Candice sings 'I Am Beautiful"
Both girls receive a standing 'o' from the judges
(I found nothing special in either of these songs, unlike last year when Phillip Phillips sang 'Home')

Round 3-- favorite song from this season

Kree sings 'Up to the Mountain'
Candice sings 'I Who Have Nothing'
Both girls again receive a standing 'o' from the judges.

America has a tough choice between these two ladies, either would be a great winner. I come down on the side of Candice, since I have been amazed by her from the beginning.
Tomorrow we will find out the results, and who is our next 'Amerian Idol'

In my opinion Candice has done the best over all.  Her songs have consistently been over the top or close to it.  I still think Angie should have been in the top two over Kree although Kree is a good singer.  I think the reason Kree made it over Angie is the enormous country music following in the US.

I agree w/Snow.  I saw all three rounds---I thought the first two were close but Candace knocked the Prankster's socks off with her third song.  She could sing the Manhattan White Pages and make it sound good.  Based on last night's performance and her body of work during Idol, Candace should win.
