Limerick contest

Snowbird:
We will be doing a weekly limerick contest for a few weeks or until everyone gets bored with it. 
The way it will work is I will start everyone off with a word that has to be used in the rhyming of the limerick.
The winner will be chosen by a poll and the winner will give the next word to be used.
Rules:
1.  The word will go up by Sunday morning. 
2.  The contest will last until Thursday night at midnight.
3.  A poll will them be added for each member to vote for the best limerick.
4.  The winner will pick the new word and can also enter the next week's contest.
5.  Only one limerick will be allowed per member.  You can always change your entry until midnight on Thursday.
6.  The poll will stay in place from midnight on Thursday until Saturday at 10 pm when the winner will be notified to choose the next word.

I expect we will see a lot of talent in this contest.

The first word to use in your limerick is "broom".

Okay, here goes.  I hope I am not the only one who enters this contest.

There once was a bride and a groom,
Who had no way to go on a honeymoon.
They decided to switch,
Their vacuum with a witch.
 Then they flew off on her magic broom.

There once was a boy with a broom,
Who was hired to sweep a bar room,
He picked up the trash,
Found him some cash,
And drank up all that he could consume.

A little laddie named Buddy,
Arrived home with his boots very muddy,
Mom cleaned up with a broom...
He was sent to his room..
Bud's whole night now will be very cruddy !    :smiley_confused1:

If he did not cease
causing neighbors no peace
they would beat on his car with their Brooms!!
