I am a big Game of Thrones fan, and love the fantasy genre. Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit are also right up there for me. A new fantasy themed series is starting this week on MTV called the Chronicles of Shannara and I am looking forward to it. My son and I have read all of the books (and there are many), so I hope I will not be disappointed. Game of Thrones did a good job capturing the story line of Martin's novels, but I am not so sure about this version...we will see!

Uhhhh....disappointed, and I don't think I'll change my mind on this although I will continue to watch through to the end. Not loving any of the characters, or the story line. And the music....gaaah.
