The Baaachelor--Chris Soules
« on: January 06, 2015, 09:53:06 AM »
Once again, I have fallen into the Bachelor trap. Our Chris is a handsome young farmer from Iowa, with a golly shucks grin and super nice personality, about as opposite from Juan Pablo as you could get. He was presented 30 girls in 2 waves to select his bride from, and they were the usual assortment of hot prospects, kooks, crazies, devils and outsiders. From the previews of the season it looks as if there will be plenty of drama. We will see how it all unfolds! I may or may not be commenting on this show again!

Yes I fell into the trap of Prince Farming.   :91: There were several that got roses I think should have been removed way before the rose ceremony!  The drunk and the crazy specifically!  I kept waiting for the drunk to fall off the risers and the crazy???  Everyone is an onion!  LOL

And the interview with Claire where she couldn't follow the question -- oh my

I always get hooked on the show, too, once I see all the new faces...this time all the girls...and I have to see how it plays out.
They sure did it up big on the show last night with the red carpet and all the former couples.
Chris seems like a genuine young man and I hope that these girls realize...he isn't moving.
With some of their careers, I wonder just how they figure they are going to fit into such a rural community and
quiet "farmerette" lifestyle  ???

Well I have to confess I read the spoilers on this show so I already know how it all comes out. I do think he probably made a good choice but I want to watch  and see how she handles herself during the season.

Sarge saw bits and bytes of last night's show.  Two observations:  Jordan should head to alcohol rehab and Ashley S. should adopt the Scarecrow's theme song.

I agree with Sarge...Ashley S.... is sort of a looney bird. I don't understand why he kept her.
And, I think Tara cleaned up her act after the first night. I did feel so sorry for this poor girl last night.
But, for the life of me...I don't understand how these girls can be so overboard on the bachelor guys when they only know them for a few weeks. -duh-

Since we all know "reality shows" and more staged than they want us to know, do you think the producers make Chris S. keep cray cray people for more drama on the show?

Now that Chris has kept her, hopefully he and Ashley S. will have a one-on-one date on this Monday's show.  The Prankster wonders if Ashley comes with a translator? :c029: :72: :sign0135: -dunno-

She is scary crazy!!

For the first time in years Sarge watched an entire episode of the Bachelor ris(Jan. 19).  He has a few random observations.

Jimmy Kimmel was pretty funny and spiced up the show.

Chris, the kissing bandit, appears to be a handsome, decent guy but Sarge has the impression he is not the sharpest blade in the butcher block.

He is ready at all times to engage in prolonged liplock with anyone other than Chris Harrison.

Most of the women seem to feel the way to Chris' heart is through his lips.  Chris has done nothing to disabuse them of this notion.

Ashley S. barely appeared in this episode but when Chris gave her the rose she had that "nobody's home" look in her eyes.

Jillian appears to confuse her short shorts with a g-string.  C'mon abc, take away the bar.

The "Wedding Crashers" segment was so spontaneous!  (Did Sarge really say that?)

Home and hot tub invasion seem to be the order of the day for these women.

I admire your fortitude Sarge!

The more Chris opens his mouth, the less I like him--he just can't seem to put a sentence together. I wonder if any of the girls have seen any conversational skills from him that we were are not privy to....

And Kelsey...whhaaaatttt? She turned out to be a little strange as well. Hope she is okay. I guess she'll have another 'story'.

It all goes to show that these shows are all about the editing.
Up til tonight she/Kelsey was portrayed as this nice woman with a sad story.
Then.... they show other things and now ...we all think her a little weird.
