Just putting in my words for the fun of it. I'll be gone for a few days, but will be back by Saturday to read all of your wonderful paragraphs!

She cracked the whip twice and began to slowly inch forward. Delphine had found herself in this particular position many times before, but this time she would be victorious. As she advanced carefully across the floor, she noticed a tail twitching behind the garbage can. Dang that dog, as if a half dozen cinnamon rolls, a loaf of bread and a box of donuts wasn't enough, he'd managed to grab her jar of Red Vines off the counter, too. That was the last straw. She took another bite of her licorice whip and made a grab for it before he dashed away.

She cracked the whip twice and began to slowly inch forward. Her heart was almost beating out of her chest !
What would she do if the tiger pounced towards her? Maggie was trembling and was too weak to even fight!
However, she had been taught that animals sensed fear !!! So, with another crack...she slowly begain to move.
Oh ,why was she born into this family of circus entertainers where their motto was "the show must go on"?

She cracked the whip twice and began to slowly inch forward. The dogs were tired and so was she, but the medicine had to reach Nome Alaska by Monday or they'd lose half the town and if she didn't make her leg of the race by morning then it would all fall on her head. The storm still raged as she pulled alongside the next driver and helped him load the medicine on his dogsled. She couldn't see his face under the layers of cloth protecting his face, just as he couldn't see hers, but his emphatic gesturing to the south was communication enough. She stumbled wearily back to her sled and commanded her dogs to run as she skillfully turned the sled to the south towards Unalakleet.

I think this is the hardest one yet, or maybe it's because my idea has already been used.
But here goes.

She cracked the whip twice and began to slowly inch forward.  She knew she must get through this maze of tunnels before the guards caught up with her.  The rats were everywhere, swarms of them, some as big as cats.  The King had her thrown in the dungeon and now he was demanding her head.  If she didn't escape she would face  the guillotine and her pretty head would be presented to the King on a silver platter.

As usual, a tough choice. But I think the show must go on, so bacali--you are the winner this week! Please put up a new sentence!
