Again...who is voting? Some of the favorites seem to be pretty amateurish. (Says the person who doesn't vote, so shouldn't be complaining, lol)!
I was only able to watch one show this week, but that's okay! This week Qaasim had to sing for the save. And....he did an outstanding job, with the best performance of the evening. He sang the Beatles' Come Together. This guy needs to stay in for awhile. He has it all--- heart, passion, and an unbridled, over the top stage presence. Glad the judges voted to keep him in. Harry said he had the best performance of the night, and I agree!
But the highlight of the evening was J'Lo singing Feel the Light. She stood center stage in a beautiful white dress that encircled her. Special effects created a light show on it that was spectacular! Loved it.
Next week, 2 will be eliminated and there are a bunch to choose from that need to go.
Things to look for in the coming weeks:
The top 11 will sing the National Anthem and serve as Grand Marshals at the Nascar Sprint Series Auto Club 400 race this weekend. (Jeff Gordon was in the audience).
Next week is 80's week with Boy George as the mentor.
The following week will treat us to Kelly Clarkson as mentor.
