Ashley Bell by Dean Koontz
Okay, I do read other authors, but this is the one I happen to be reading now. Just started it, but so far, so good. Koontz has a knack for creating spunky characters. His plot moves right along, and there is no deep thinking involved (lol)! Just pure entertainment. This time, the plot revolves around a girl named Bibi. She gets mysteriously ill, is at death's door, and then is remarkably cured--with a caveat. She must save Ashley Bell. And then the fun begins.
