Survivor will air a retrospective episode ahead of the new winners season.

So do I assume that any winner that doesn’t get a segment can’t win WaW?

They’ve also changed their policy from anything goes minus physically attacking another contest (outside challenges designed for such) to...

the most recent season that forced the network to change policies and procedures around the show. (Spilo was also removed from the show.) This includes adding an on-site professional at the production level to offer confidential ways to report concerns about misconduct and behavior, as well as a new rule that finally explictly bars “unwelcome physical contact, sexual harassment and impermissible biases,” and “enhanced” pre-production training and meetings around harassment, unconscious bias and sensitivity for the cast, producers and crew.

Which to me sounds like the most anti Survivor policy you could write. Do they even remember the original premise of the show any more? 16 strangers left to fend for themselves and form a new society of their own making while surviving on a deserted island? What about Richard and Rudy? They worked together the whole game but now Rudy would be pulled from the game for saying queer and Richard would be pulled for being naked. Let’s not even mention what Sean called Rich (FNF). With this policy they’d have to pull about 20+ percent of past casts and the more entertaining 20+ percent at that.

Forcing people to be fake is bad TV.
