Allison Weir's Henry VIII
« on: July 19, 2023, 10:50:30 PM »
I've always read Alison Weir, a noted historian of Tudor England.  She's exhausted the family pretty much and a few years ago started fictionalized books on the lives of the Queens of Henry VIII.  She uses historical background and fleshes it out.  Her newest is a fictionalized story of Henry VIII.  I'm up to Anne Boleyn and Henry's courtship and Henry's divorce.  It's good but long.

Hmmm...sounds interesting. There was a great series on Netflix? Not sure, that I watched about him...fascinating.
