This might not qualify as a Limerick but composing it was a cathartic experience.  (MP is just kidding!.....or is he?)

Trembling hand reaches for the news it will bring.

For anyone here not old enough to remember that pregnancy test use to be done on rabbits, let me explain.  If the rabbit died you were expecting a bundle of joy.  With that explained, here is my limerick.

There once was a man named Bing
Who thought he was just having a fling,
