I had heard , that it was "controversial". I forget where I heard it, on tv or the paper.
So, when it came on yesterday I watched and thought.... .funny.

I can see where some people who are picky want to complain, but, for me, I just took the humor in it.

My heart hurts just as much today as it did 50 years ago watching all the coverage of John Kennedy's assassination.
I was young, but, remember my family being glued to our television all weekend.
It still brings tears to my eyes.

Well said, bacali.  As a man, I feel sadness for the those who lost a husband, father, family member and friend.  As an American, I feel sadness for the loss of what the Kennedy Presidency embodied----boundless energy, a "can do" attitude, limitless possibilities.  During a Presidency filled with memorable quotes, my favorite remains "We choose to go to the Moon and do the other things, not because they are easy but because they are hard.....".  O Johnny, where have WE gone?

Ahem, for those of you who worship the Nebraskas and Alabamas of the world, it might have escaped your notice that a basketball FOOTBALL power is rising in Durham, NC.  Its name:  the DUKE BLUE DEVILS!  Duke is 9-2, riding a seven-game winning streak and will play for the ACC Championship and a berth in the Orange Bowl if the Blue Devils beat the loathsome Tar Heels next weekend. GO DUKE!!! :whoo: :Woot_Emoticon:

Aw... what a shame. I hate it when the power goes out. Hate that really dark , dark.
It's worse in the summer, I think. We lost ours one of those hot streaks last summer when the temp was 95 at eleven o'clock. I thought I was suffocating... I was so hot.
But, gave you a reason to snuggle....  :57:
