I love thunder snow as long as I'm not driving.  It means -- get ready, here it comes.

Regarding the weather.  We are back into the 40s and 50s but it is supposed to be cold tonight.  The good news:  I think I will have heat when I come in tomorrow.  I think I inally have figured out the heat.

Woke up this morning and saw that it was snowing like crazy outside. I know this makes a lot of people
happy and we will have a white Christmas. I'm sure it will last because our temperatures for the coming
week are single digit figures. It finally looks like winter has arrived. -snowplop-

Nothing really here...just slushy rain. I'd rather a dusting of snow.... looks a lot prettier for Christmas.
I just hope everyone who is traveling is safe.

I have to get up tomorrow and take my computer to my repair guy. Hope I don't fall on the

Our temp is the same. Right now it's 25 degrees at 2:30. They warn us not to go out without hats, gloves etc., because you can get frostbite very fast.
I don't know what the New Years Eve people will do. They say it's dangerous for them.
To be at Times Square at midnight when the ball drops, you have to get there in the afternoon and STAND... all that time.
Doesn't sound like fun to me.

Bitter cold here, too. Had a nice 3-4" of snow for Christmas, but today the wind is from the south and so it is very cold. When you live in a big, drafty old house you can really feel it. Old furnace can't quite keep up.

Well going to be 0 degrees and feel way below.
I am just happy that I don't live in Erie , Pa( I think this is where I saw it) snow is already over 6 FEET.
They usually have this much snow during the winter season, so God help them if, probably when, they get more.
They showed a house covered where a poor woman was stranded and they had to make a path to her house. Can you imagine this? Your house totally covered !!!  *Nooooo*
And, ponytail, I live in an old house which is very drafty, too.
Everyone stay safe and warm.

I heard a new weather term tonight: Bombogensis
It's a "weather bomb" of cold, snow, wind and waves. ...which we are getting in the next few days.
Anyone else ever hear this term?

New terms for the weather are popping up all over! Stay safe everyone, even you Snowbird are getting cold weather I see. I saw pics of frozen fountains in Savannah!
bacali, it looks like once more you guys are gonna get it. I think I am glad I live in the midwest.
A friend in Texas said she had to cover her palms from the frost. Nobody is escaping this one.

The weather is getting ridiculous here in the northeast.
We had 4 noreasters in as many weeks, and....
Yesterday, our temp went up to 60,it was lovely.
Thank goodness Easter isn't today.
I woke up to snow.. final accumulations are about 8-9 inches!!!!
The news says that NYC had the most April snow since 1982,
and the Yankees had to postpone their season opener this afternoon.
Hopefully, this will be the last snow of the season. PLEASE !

We've been trying to have our yearly party (which got moved from October).  We decided March would be good and got a date.  But no!  Snow!!!  When they would have been driving home, it would have been slick.  We moved it to this Saturday and yesterday one of the little weather people put the dreaded word back in our forecast again.

We have had snow -- warm -- cold -- warm -- almost spring -- and now back to the 40s for this weekend.  Is it the "Day After Tomorrow?"

Bacali my daughter in Philly is as tired of the Noreasters as you are.  They want to be outside but on the nice days the parks are still to wet.  We have the SNOW word in our forcast for Friday here in Oklahoma!
Here's to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.
